Coming soon... to a blog near you!


OK, so I don't really have a flair for the dramatic. :-)
As you may have noticed, I went dark for a while there.
I was totally slammed and was not able to get back to my normal routine for a couple of weeks.
Additionally, I've been working on something that I think is pretty cool.
SharePoint capacity planning is always a painful subject and figuring out exactly what kind of farm you need to successfully support your users is nothing short of rocket science.
I had to do it for our deployment within the firm and the pain of working through it led me to create SPCAP - SharePoint Capacity Planning Tool.  I will be releasing SPCAP very shortly so stay tuned...
In the mean time, I've come to realize that us SharePoint geeks tend to use a lot of acronyms in our communication and that it's not always clear what we mean.  I've created a page to list all the most common ones I come accross and use and will update it periodically with more.  If you have some suggestions, please let me know.  It's pretty bare right now but will grow over time.  For more...
