Office “12″ now has an official name… Office 2007!


Well, the moment we’ve been waiting for finally arrived.
Microsoft finally published details on the upcoming Office release.
Dubbed Office "12" during it’s TAP and Beta 1 phase, it will officially be named Office 2007.
Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 has become Office SharePoint Server 2007, dropping the "Portal" notation.
Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 has remained the same simply carrying the upgrade notation in Windows SharePoint Service 3.
