OK, so I thought that the Google server cloud was a Borg like entity that simply assimilates new servers and automatically eliminate dead servers in place i.e. it can NOT go down. Ha, ha, ha… Read this for a rude awakening:
It seems somehow Google Apps’ entire IMAP server functionality went down about 30 minutes or so ago. Lucky for Google, Gmail is still labeled as a “Beta” product. Ha, ha, ha….
